在你充分分析、理解、检查和确认之前,在你有足够的证据去说些事情和行动之前,不要轻易判断,决定或者开口。 外表是有欺骗性的! when i came to china the first time and for the next 2 or 3 years every single day was quite a different experience. there was no single day that was boring to me. there was always something new to see, learn or experience. in this article i will talk about real examples of situations that happened to me specially those first 3 years. later i learned of all these things and became more aware and cautious so i would not make the same mistakes. example number one: the factory owner we went to shandong province to visit a factory and potential supplier of glazed porcelain tile. we were picked up by this gentleman driving a very nice mercedes benz 500. he looked clean and well dressed. using an interpreter we greeted the gentleman and talked about different business things related to tile from the airport all the way to the factory just to later find out that the person driving the car was just “the driver” and the “big boss” was waiting for us in his office. when we met the big boss, we foreigners laughed among ourselves and said that how difficult was to tell for us if the driver was the owner or not, so we assumed better that he was. in all honesty the driver looked more like the owner and the owner more like the driver! in the western world 9 out 10 times or 10 out of 10 times you can very easily tell who is the owner and who is the driver. in china we can easily make the same mistake 8 out of 10 times. example number tw the food every week i would take all the office employees we had back then (6) to lunch and i was paying with my own money. since i was the one paying i selected the restaurant and most of the dishes. every single time we arrived to the restaurant i always said the same to them: do not order dog, cat, donkey, horse, snake, frog or rat. one day our driver (who spoke english well by the way) he had the guts to say in front of everyone and tell me: boss you have been eating frog the last couple of days and you didn’t even notice. he was right i thought i was eating chicken but nobody had the guts to tell me. so as long as i didn’t notice and i liked it, no problem! after that incident never ever frog was ordered again. example number three: the nice showroom we visited many showrooms back in the early years of 2000 (around 2002 to 2004). many of them were huge according to our western standards. some even had 4 floors and electric stairs. to be honest with you, we were very impressed. we joked and said that our boss from america had to come here to see this by himself because they will not believe us in america, if we told them the sizes of these showrooms in china. we all said: according to this showroom i bet this company has a huge or very nice factory. after requesting several times to visit their factory (they did not want to take us unless they had an order from us) we went to visit their factory and placed a small order. we were all in shock when we saw the factory! it was old, bad looking, disorganized, etc. we asked ourselves: how can this company have such a nice showroom and such a bad plant? are they really making the products that we saw in the showroom in this factory? and the answer was yes! we saw it with our own eyes. most buyers from america or many parts of the world do not take time to go see where the products they are going to buy are manufactured. the only see the nice showrooms and to them it is enough. another thing that was extremely hard to explain was (and we asked ourselves every time) how can they make such a good product from this old factory? perfectly square, flat and well polished? how can they make a product as good looking as ours with this old factory than we with the most modern plant? do not judge, decide or open your mouth until you analyze, understand, confirm and check that you have enough evidence to say something or take action. looks can be deceiving! 瓷砖相关 villeroy viewgres vicostone ivi卫浴 ivi ,本资讯的关键词:ivimake外表 (【ivi】更新:2013/8/12 22:00:45)
